We are all guilty of it…wishing our lives away, making all kinds of plans, plotting and planning for everything our hearts desire but don’t they say that life is what happens when you are busy making plans…for Ashton Andrews this was the story of her life…everything she thought she had and/or wanted in tatters and a decision on which direct to head now first and foremost in her mind.

Life played its trump hand with Ashton, all her hope crashing around her but not one to wallow, she sets about rewriting her future, girding her loins and powering after the thing she wants most…a child of her own.

But did she get it that was the question, would she see her dreams come to fruition of would she be left to pick up the pieces again? And if does, who will be the lucky man?

Well, fate was willing to give her a helping hand on that front, bringing a blast from the past back into her life and giving them both the opportunity to discover the answer to all those, what if’s that hung around way back when they were in college.

It may have been years since they had crossed paths but Duncan was a crush that she didn’t really shake off, best friends with her brother he was everything that any sane woman would want, funny, sexy, charming and deliriously passionate, I fell in love with him immediately!

But did he know what he would be letting himself in for if they finally got their act together…and if he did was he ready for everything that Ashton was?

Was she ready, for everything that Dunk had to offer… Oh but it was such fun finding out!

This was a fantastic second chance romance, it was romantic, it had not only all the feels, it also had Ashton’s brothers, and I think I might just have to have one of them for myself!

Beautifully written with a purposeful pace, this was a delight. It brought to the fore the lessons we all learn, that of not only loss but of finding new hope. It was filled to the brim to anecdotes that brought back memories that I could reflect on and that catapulted the story into a whole new dimension, one that made sure that I understood that this was an author that was willing to do everything she could to make the story real!
