After the end of book two, I was totally desperate to get my hands on this the final installment in the series and to find out just what deviousness Ms. Frazier had in store for me.
I really hadn’t expected anything to top the first two books, but how daft was I because darn it, this didn’t try to compete with anything the first two books brought to the table…nope, it wiped the floor with them…I was breathless, seriously this was that good!
Now, I don’t want to say too much about the details because this isn’t the sort of story that you want to be second-guessing because believe me when I say you will be totally wasting your breath, I was caught unawares more times that I care to admit!
Grim was willing to stop at nothing for EJ, there was nothing that he wasn’t prepared to undertake in order to ensure that she was safe from those that had ulterior motives but he wasn’t the only one to flex their muscles because EJ was a woman not to be taken lightly, she was a tough cookie and I have to say that for as much as I admired Grim and his fortitude, I think I was fascinated by EJ.
You don’t need me to tell you that this wasn’t for the feint hearted, yes there was angst and attitude, but that wasn’t all, there was so much more, it was packed with genuine heartache which followed hot on the tail of a multitude dramas and an indubitable amount of violence and bloodshed.
With Grim and EJ, nothing is predictable, and because of that, I would have to say that their journey is totally epic.
This was the most perfect end to what has been yet another smash hit series by TM Frazier.
